Not sure what to say?

Tara, a year has passed & we think of you often. May loving memories & the love and support of your family continue to sustain you and your children. With love, Maria, Steve & Jon Sussman

Michael and I lived on the same dorm floor freshman year at Union College. He was the quiet, doe-eyed funny guy ("my mother cooks, sure: take-out Chinese or Italian"). We didn't stay in touch, but I never forgot him. His face popped right back into my mind as soon as I heard this saddest news. From reading these pages, he clearly became the great individual and professional he promised to be all those years back. I send my sincerest sympathy to all of you in his family. He was memorable.

There are no words which can express the pain we feel concerning the loss of Michael. His is a great loss, to his family and to the world. We will always remember him at happy occasions, his wedding and his brother Robert's wedding...he was loved by his family and his colleagues...too brief a life but a great legacy.

I had the pleasure of working with Michael in Roosevellt hospital when I was a fellow. Michael was a very special person who will me greatly missed by all his friends. My condolences to his family and all his friends.

I had the good fortune of working with Dr. Grauer in Phoenix. His thoughtfulness, work ethic, skill, and sense of humor will be greatly missed. My thoughts and prayers are with those he leaves behind, especially his wife and children.

It seems inappropriate for someone who only met Michael twice to leave a remembrance, but maybe it's a testament to the quality of the man. I met Michael when he was interviewing for a Fellowship position and again at a conference. He was such an easy person to talk to and had a truely unique sense of humor. He was truely a gentle soul. My condolences.

My thoughts and prayers are with all of Michael's family. I went to high school with Michael and remember his kind, affable nature. When I picture him, it is with a broad smile on his face. I am truly sorry for your loss.

I had the distinct honor of working with Michael during his fellowship at Rhode Island Hospital. I remember his as one of the most even-keeled, generous, and dedicated fellows that I have ever worked with. He was truly unique in his patience and wonderful sense of humor. His dedication to his wife and children was immense. I will miss very much his great demeanor, his special outlook, and his unique disposition. My most sincere sympathies go out to Tara, Mason, Riley, and Presley. You...

Dear Grauer family,
I knew Dr. Grauer while he was at BGSMC. He was a great radiologist and was so kind to patients and we all loved him. He was a very dedicated man and he always talked about his family, you were most important to him. He always treated the techs and nurses with respect and they always had fun. I will miss him and you are in my prayers and thoughts daily.
