John Henry visits Michael Graves again after 30 years.

I first met Michael Graves on a bus tour of Otto Wagner's work in Vienna in 1985. The tour was part of the Dream and Reality exhibition. He had shot to prominence after the Portland building was completed. I was a young architect from Melbourne Australia. While I was photographing everything, Michael concentrated on Wagner's decorative touches. He was a creative genius, and his presence will be with us for a long time. I experience his creativity first hand with the new Green Lane Building at Kean University.
