Michael Tannehill Grier

My condolences to his family. He was my wife's doctor and he treated her for pain that she suffered daily. I went with my wife to her appointments every time. He was always positive and caring, helping her get through day by day. Even when he was ill...he was there for us. He had so much strength and compassion for my wife and what she was going through. My wife and I have been together for 40 years. He helped us... telling us he was there to help her manage. We have never met a doctor like...

I was a patient of Dr. Grier's for more than 20 years. My husband also worked on his boat a few times so I was in contact with him both at his office and at our business. He was always both pleasant and friendly. I will miss Dr. Grier and I know his family will greatly miss his presence, his strength and his love. Betty & Phil Cooley

I still read the World Herald despite the fact I have lived in Wisconsin since 1968. Seeing Michael's obit has brougt back many memories of the time I lived in Omaha and worked at Clarkson Hospital. My husband and I were good friends of John and Barb Grier. Their daughter Megan is our godchild and I hear from her. I remember when he came to the surgery center at medicus , he was so professional and kind , that was many years ago then , then I had a procedure at the pain clinic this past January he found out I was there and came to the office and seen me ,( plus his daughter work there . ) I was so happy to see his smiling face and got a big hug from him , which will always be in my memories for ever .
