Recently learned of Griff's passing. Saddened by the news. He was a wonderful friend whom always had an insatiable sense of humor. He will be missed. RIP Griff!

It was a pleasure calling Michael a friend. Having known Mike for many, many years and always making sure to catch up with him on my visits to Grand Rapids, I'm saddened to here of his passing. Prayers to the Griffin Family and to Mike - may he rest in peace.

We all have the Griffin dna, in looks and beingness. Some of our life struggles have been the same, some of our successes similar....we've "rhymed" in...

A small 'dog' of humble state
Faithful friend to each one
Now laid to rest at Heaven's gate
No longer 'taxed' by Winter's sun

His dogs were his kids.
He loved them all...He never stopped talking about them....
