I knew Mike Gross during my years as Executive Secretary through President, a period of more many 30 years. He was truly an active member and deserved the Sections first, Meritorious Service Award.

I knew Mike from his active participation in the Pittsburgh Section of the ASCE. He encouraged and influenced my participation in the Section. He was a great source of institutional knowledge when I was Section President. I was honored to be a recipient of the Section's Meritorious Service Award which bears his name. Mr. Gross was a true professional Civil Engineer and gentleman.
