Michael “Mike” Thomas Grubbs, age 71, husband of Donna Middleton Grubbs “Bishop”, passed away Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at the U.K. Medical Center. Mike was born July 13, 1952 in Louisville, KY to the late Tom and Dorris Bryant Grubbs.


Mike was a former employee with Mountjoy Farms in Lawrenceburg and a U.S. Army veteran.


Including his wife Donna, Mike is survived by sons, Tommy Grubbs (Pam) of Frankfort, Jason Grubbs (Mossie) of Lawrenceburg;  step children Sara Heightchew of Lawrenceburg, Amanda Cook (Chris) of Lawrenceburg, Rhonda Hatton (Leslie) of Bardstown, Brandon Bishop (Christy) of Lawrenceburg and Matt Bishop of Lawrenceburg;  grandchildren, Brooke Routt (Cory), Dustin Grubbs (Danielle) and Tyler Grubbs (Paige) and Emily & Will Cox; several step grandchildren; a great grandson, Carter Routt; and several step great grandchildren;  sisters, Lorraine Beavers (Gene) of Bloomfield, Nancy Bailey of Lawrenceburg and Kathy Curtsinger of Fairfield.


Including his parents, Mike was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Grubbs.


Visitation will be 1:00 to 5:00 P.M., Saturday, February 24, 2024 at the Ritchie & Peach Funeral Home.
