Michael Anthony Guida of Brooklyn, New York passed away peacefully on April 3, 2021. He is now in the company of his brother Joseph. Born to Anthony and Mary Guida, of Queens NY, in 1956, he is survived by his partner Dionisio, his brother Jack, sisters-in-law Connie and Rita, nephews Anthony, Vincent, Michael, Danny, and their families. Michael is also survived by an uncle, aunts, and cousins.
Michael was a retired New York City School Teacher and mentor who taught with passion and unwavering commitment. He devoted his professional life to inspiring young minds to find their paths to a better life.
Michael supported charities that help children and veterans in need. To honor his wishes, we would like to ask if you could please donate to St. Jude Children's Hospital and/or Veterans of Foreign Wars, in lieu of flowers.

Michael Guida was a mentor. He was a solid rock when you needed one. He was a teacher, a guider and one of the most helpful souls to graze this planet. I could with all honesty say he taught me many life skills. He will live on vicariously through his students.
