Not sure what to say?

Leanna and Family,
I worked with Mike out of the Portland Office of OSP in 1979-1981. Lt. Schroder was our Station Commander. Mike was a great friend, mentor and a good Trooper. Many moons ago, he and I camped up at Timothy Lake on one of our 5 day rollovers. He had a special place in his heart for Timothy Lake. Rest easy, Mike. I will forever remember you and the exciting times we shared on patrol.

Multnomah Office 1977 seems like yesterday. Since then we have been so fortunate. We've lived our dreams, experienced few radgeties, and worked with some great people. That is a life well lived. Rest in peace Hack. Semper fi.

Rest in Peace he was a fine Trooper.

I enjoyed working with Mike when I was assigned to the OSP Portland Patrol Office. I first met Mike when I was a trooper out of the OSP Beaverton Patrol Office. Mike will be missed and my condolences to the family.

I will miss Mike, he was an outstanding Trooper and a credit to the Department. To say he was respected by all of his peers is an understatement. He loved motors, his fellow officers, his family, and the Department. My thoughts are with his family who I'm know hold many fond memories of such a fine man, father, and Officer. Hope to see you again some day Mike.

Rest In peace my friend. I will always remember the times you were sitting outside the PPO on your motorcycle and always took the time to talk with me. The nights we worked graveyard and you always had coffee to share as we sat in our patrol cars talking. Once I asked for help to contact a auto theft suspect and you volunteered. I was lucky to meet your 2 sons that work for MCSO while they were in the Marine unit. They are really fine cops.

I'm sorry to hear of Mike's passing. The world is now missing another of 'The Good Guys.' Heaven will be a better place with him there though.

Leanne and family,
We appreciated Mike coming to The Dalles and patrolling the annual cruise night in August.Best wishes to you and the family.

Mike was one of the good guys who I worked with out in the Gorge. Knowing him was a pleasure and he will be missed.

My prayers go out to his wife, Leanna, and his family in their time of sorrow.
