Not sure what to say?

Jonathan, was an excellent and a professional PA, of the VA system.

I just heard of Jonathan's passing in the Washington & Lee University alumni magazine. I am so very sorry. Jonathan lived next door to me in Gaines Hall. He was a wonderful person...so kind and patient. I remember how much he enjoyed singing in Southern Comfort at W & L. He will be missed by so many. My heartfelt condolences to his family.

Jonathan was so impressive for his intelligence and kindness during PA school. I remember his smile most of all! I pray his sweet family can find peace during such a painful time.

Sorry for your loss. Jonathan was a kind man and good friend.

I got a chance to meet Jonathan Hanger when he married my niece, Janet Wilson. What a pleasure to get to know such a special man that was coming into our family. Jonathan came to our door after we had lived in the neighborhood for a while. He introduced himself and handed us a jar of his honey. We sat on the porch, talking like old friends. We will remember him as that kind of person, one who on first meeting had a ready smile, a wealth of knowledge, and a gift for conversation.
We are thinking of you, Janet, and of the children, and offer our sympathy and prayers.

Your Neighbors,
Mark and Dale Smith

Prayers to the family.
