For the Mike Hanna Page So Sorry, for Mike's Children,Brothers and Sisters and Legion of Friends As a crew of six,in a rental van,we took two trips To Cape Hatteras. We learned about this type of fishing, from Mikes older Brother Tom and his friends.Boy did we love it.One of the rides down south,Gus popped in a cassette of the jerky boys.We laughed so hard we were in tears. So Me(gopher),Mike Newell,Gus,Bill Bitner,Mike hanna, and a friend of bills, got to the island and we killed em.Yellow...

When I think of my brother Mike I remember a cheerful sports loving guy who was always ready to lend a hand and help wherever he could. His humor was always clean he could make you smile in a minute, he will be missed but always in my heart and prayers. Reenie Negler

My heart is heavy with the news of brother Michael (Fat Rat) moving on. The memories of our adventures over the years bring nothing but comfort and happiness. He was always quick with a smile or good wisecrack even when in a pinch. You always knew he had your back. He had a rough paper route and the inner strength to roll with the punches. I am proud to have been friends with him and looking forward to joining him and the crew when I get transferred to his unit.
I wish for only...

I am so very sorry that you lost Michael. My prayers are for his children, family, friends and loved ones. We knew each other from the old crowds of young adults, life was very simple and always fun. I took this photo of him with Ellen back then and Heidi mentioned it was one of her dad's favorites. They were wonderful times, coming of age before computers, mobile devices and social media. RIP Fat Rat as he was affectionately nicknamed.

Dear Heidi, Erin, and Cory,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your loss. I will always remember your dad's wonderful laugh and big hugs. He was a great uncle, and I know he loved you all very much.
With deepest sympathy,
Helene and Tom Pistey
