Ten years gone? Seems impossible to me. But, you and your cheeky smile and humor and wisdom live on in my memory every day. Without you, I wouldn't have the career or life I have today. I am eternally grateful! Love you.

Hard to believe it´s been ten years you left here. You are truly missed as all our loved ones are. I´ll be seeing you!!!! Blessings and fond memories.

May God bless the Hanning family. I have great memories of choir with Mr.Hanning. I played piano for class in 1981 and 1982. While not always the most patient , he put up with my teenage frustration at playing the same passages over and over, till it was just right. He had an ingenious way of getting the students to pay attention. When we were boisterous and loud , he would SING. Everyone would immediately stop to listen, his voice was so powerful. He also had a way of nudging you to do...

My deepest prayers & condolences go out to the family. Mr. Hanning was truly a great teacher who will be missed. I remember when he invited me to sing at Groesbeck Methodist & everyone clapped. Mr Hanning later told me that that had not happened in over 20 years. It was under his leadership & training I know what I know, and have passed it on to others. May he forever Rest

Mr. Hanning was the best that I will ever know. He brought us to state championships and alot of different plays. Now he is one of the angels' in heavens music directors. God Bless!!

I'm so sorry for your loss. He brought out the best in his students (me being one of them). I'll never forget him.

Mr. Hanning was much beloved by so many of his students. His confidence in me shaped my life and encouraged me to go on and do things most only dream ... one of which was touring in the cast of "Up with People" ... He was an inspiration and beyond.
