Dr. Michael Harris

So sorry to hear of his passing. I always enjoyed our yearly appointments. I thought he was just retiring -

I worked for Dr. Harris for 4 years and had great respect for him. He was generous and compassionate. You could count on him for a joke, story or advice. You would often hear him playing his guitar in the office. I am shocked and saddened to hear that he passed. My condolences to the Harris family.

My family and I were so sadden to hear about the loss of Dr. Harris. My father was a one of Dr. Harris' first patient in the Livingston office. I also followed in those footsteps, and have been a patient of Dr. Harris as well as my husband, and now 20 year old twins. We were so blessed to have him as our eye doctor for all these years. I was shocked and saddened to hear the news.

I have been a patient of Dr. Harris' for about 30 yrs. (along with my mother and sister). Whenever I saw him, we would discuss golf and vacations. When I was younger he would see me pass his office walking to the bus for NYC and would remember and would mention it to me when I came into the office. He was a good natured, caring person and will be missed.

We just read about the passing of Dr. Harris. He was our family doctor for so many years. He operated on my eyes and I'll never forget crying and hugging him when he removed the bandages and I was able to read the chart clearly. He will be sorely missed. Our sincere condolences to the family.

My condolences to Dr. Harris family. He was a kind and thoughtful man and a wonderful physician who took excellent care of me (and later my family) beginning in 1987 when he first treated me on ER call at the old West Essex General Hospital. I am grateful to have known him and been cared for by him and will miss him. My thoughts are with you all. May he be at peace on the golf course in heaven.
