Angelus Funeral Home - San Antonio Obituary

Michael R. Harrold was born to Frank and Darthe Harrold on July 27, 1951, and passed Sunday, July 16, 2023.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Terri Harrold and children Chris and Melissa and daughter-in-law Stacy as well as his brother Glenn, sister Jill; nieces and nephews: Shelly, Meredeth, Lauren, Glenn Jr., and Roam Jr.

There are so many ways to describe Mike.  He was fun loving, joyful, dependable, a hard-worker, and a devout Catholic.  He was deeply in love with his wife Terri and the type of dad that everyone wished they had.  His witticism was only matched by his sense of humor on top of that he loved making puns alongside his collection of Dad Jokes.  He adored music, live events, food, and spending time with his family and friends.  He was proud of being the one to call if Directions were needed and loved to look for new ways to get to old places.

Not sure what to say?

Mike was my manager when I was a fresh-faced teenage kid in the 70’s. He constantly challenged me to do my job better in way that has endured for the last 45 years of my life. He and Terri became close friends until my eventual move to Houston to pursue my professional goals. I will never forget the impact he had.

I worked with Mike at BAMC and enjoyed our many conversations about his life and family who he dearly loved. I hope the family's memories of him will help support them at this time.

Mike, We miss working with you at BAMC. We were looking forward to having you back at the office. Gonna miss our conversations.

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father's house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. You know the way to the place where I am going." John 14:1-4! TERRI, CHRIS, MELISSA, and STACY: Michael took me under his wing at my first ACTS Retreat. I will always...

Our deepest sympathy to the family and friends of Sir Noble Michael during this difficult time. As a member of the International Order of Alhambra, he followed the example of St. Francis and his Prayer

Lord, make me an instrument of Your peace.Where there is hatred, let me sow love;Where there is injury, pardon;Where there is doubt, faith;Where there is despair, hope;Where there is darkness, light;Where there is sadness, joy.

O Divine Master, grant that I may not so...

My prayers on the passing of a kind and humble soul. May the prayers of St. Dionysus of Ephesus embrace a life now preparing to enter into the halls of the heavenly banquet.
Francis McHugh.

We are so sadden to learn of Mike's passing. Our deepest condolences to Terry, Chris and Melissa. Prayers to all of you as you journey through this difficult time. We were so blessed to have known such a fine devout father, husband, and individual.
