Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Hayes,
Mother had told me that Capt. Hayes had lost his battle with melanoma. What a galliant fighter he was and I will always remember him for his courageous fight against this hideous disease and his unabiding positive outlook on life. Dear Mrs. Hayes,
I was saddened to hear about Mr. Hayes death and want to send my deepest sympathy and prayers. I enjoyed traveling with you both on several Smithsonian study tours and remember fondly our conversations about the Civil War and many other subjects. Will Greene and I were actually on a tour together when we heard the news, and drank a toast to you both. I will be thinking of you and your family in the days ahead.

Dear Mrs. Hayes, You and your entire family are in our prayers. We all have fond memories of Captain Hayes.
With love, Jennifer and the KPRD Group at Merrill Lynch
