To the Henderson family I am very deeply saddened of the passing of Michael I've had the opportunity of knowing him from the grocery store he shopped at daily he was just the nicest man to know I enjoyed talking and hearing funny little stories on a daily basis I will miss him and feel blessed to have known him my condolences to the family

My wife and I had the opportunity to know Mike at work and social events for many years. We have good memories of him. He was like a big brother to me and others at JSO. He will be missed by many. Our condolences to Deb and the rest of the family.

I´ve been thinking a lot about Mike since his passing. I suppose you might say I was his supervisor, as I was Sheriff for a time, but Mike didn´t need supervision. He was a born leader! I came to JSO in 1976, and at that time he was essentially running the detective bureau. But Mike wore many hats during his career. His leadership extended to his time as a union rep, where he represented his fellow deputies with skill and a sense of fairness. He culminated his career by running the jail...

To the Henderson family: We are so sorry to learn of Mike's passing. He was a great neighbor so many years ago with 3 wonderful "little girls". How quickly time passes. Our deepest sympathy to you all.

Debi and family, We are so sorry to hear of Mike's passing. David looked up to Mike during their years of working together and we valued our friendship with both of you. May he rest in peace. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and the family.

Deb I'm so sorry to hear about Mike, I know he was a very good person. I remember coming to the campgrounds to visit you two. He will be missed.
