Henebery, Michael J.
Michael J. Henebery, 61, of Torrington, CT passed away August 18, 2015 at Charlotte Hungerford Hospital tragically during a routine procedure. Mike was a long time resident of Torrington and Bethel but grew up In Oakville, graduating from Watertown H.S. He was a proud member of the NRA and local gun club. He was a welder for 40 years and an employee of MB Aerospace for over 25 as foreman.
Mike was a no nonsense kind of soul but also a man you could turn to for anything, and when he gave you his word, he kept it. Mike loved animals but never hunted despite his love of guns. He joked the only thing he could shoot would have 2 legs if a threat left him no other choice.
He is survived by his wife Nancy Davis Oldendorf Henebery and mother Ruth Milliard Henebery. His stepchildren Michael Davis Oldendorf, Eric Davis Oldendorf, Casey Noel Oldendorf all of Bethel and Tina Bradshaw Flores of Fort Royal, VA. A sister, Janice Pelletier of Wolcott, and his lifelong partner in antics and craziness Craig Duncan of Torrington. He is predeceased by his father John Joseph Henebery.
A service to honor and celebrate Mike's life will be held on Saturday 8/29 at Brooklawn Funeral Home, 511 Brook Street, Rocky Hill from 2-4pm. Please sign guest book on legacy.com
