Michael pops into my mind from time to time, and I remember his thoughtfulness above everything. He was kind to me when a personal crisis created havoc in my life, and he was the only person who had ever expressed his appreciation of my spelling! So I loved working with him, and was sad although completely understanding when he moved away to be closer to his kids. I was both saddened and shocked to hear the news of Michael Herringer's passing. I met him and dealt with him many times at Shaw Multicultural Channel, and he was a really nice and kind person. I met him at SMC during work and at the Shaw 30 years Celebration Party, where I took lots of pictures with Michael and my co-workers, and senior producers Sandra Murphy and Norman Wong. My deepest condolences to Michael's family, co-workers and friends. God Bless his beautiful soul!

I was deeply saddened to hear about Michael's passing. I had the chance to work with him during his time at Shaw in Vancouver. I will remember him fondly as someone that was dedicated to the job and a creative leader. That someone with the ability to provide a great sense of humour to the task at hand.
