My condolences to the family. I was a student teacher with Mike back in the early 90's. I enjoyed working with him, learning how to handle a classroom and benefitting from his kindness and professionalism. We would banter good-naturedly about the Wilson-Mifflin rivalry and many other topics. He was a fine gentleman!

Daddy, I am so broken without you. You were the most amazing man, mentor, educator, father, husband, and grand-father. You were my inspiration for everything and I am so proud to say you were my dad. The kids miss their best friend so much. Mom and I need you, and Seth needed so much more time with you. We are beyond devastated. There are so many people who loved and admired you. Please hug everyone in heaven for us. You will always be in our hearts, souls and minds. We love you so...

My daughter, Sherri had him for a teacher in the early 90´s. He was the Best ever! So wonderful with kids. He will be so missed. To his family.... you won´t be able to forget all the beautiful memories with him So sorry to hear of his passing.
