Not sure what to say?

I learned that Mike and I were distantly related about 8 years ago when I wrote a family history book including the Stark/Hinz line. My dad occasionally mentioned his grandfather Harvey Hinz. In February I was in Arizona and just now learned of Mike's death. My sympathy to all of his family.

Angie, Sandy, Jerry,

I was stunned when I heard the about Mike. Mom called to let me know. I am so very sorry for your loss. Mike was quite a guy. I often recall the wild and crazy times with him and everyone else. They were our "good old days". Peace and Love to you all.

Although time and distance can sometimes separate friends, a friendship that has been etched in stone can never be dissolved. We really kicked it up at Animal House, your mom's, the North St. Saint Paul Bars, and anywhere else we went that supplied the necessary fluids that would stimulate our creativity. Some may have said we were having too much fun, others just joined in. By the way, I talked to God, and He forgave you for taking His U-Haul truck and using it for your personal use for...

Sandy,Jerry & Angel
I am so sorry that we can't be there in person to offer our comfort, hugs and condolences in person. I will call you Sandy when we get home from Florida. We don't always understand why things happen in life, but God has a plan for all of us.It must be that Danny needed his big brother Mike with him, and now there are two angels watching over all of you. When I babysat your kids I'm sure that they were tired of hearing my Monkees' or Beatles' albums.May you find peace...

Dear Sandy, Jerry, Angie and Nick

The heavens are shinning with their new star, I can see him up there with Danny, Steve and Jimmy probably singing one of his favorite Rolling Stones songs together. He will be missed by all.

Dear Sandy and Angel:
My thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time. Mike was such a sensitive soul, and kind of heart. I have fond memories of laughing with him, and sharing his magnificent dishes at Thanksgiving time. Peace to you both.

Dear Sandy,

We were so sorry to hear about Mike. I haven't seen Mike since he would go to the lake with us when Mike and my brother Rob Haugen were just little kids. We always enjoyed his company (not to mention the big tin of chicken his dad would so kindly send along with us).

You will all be in our thoughts and prayers. Blessings to you all from Gail (Haugen) Ball and the Haugen Family

Sandy, Jerry and Ang,
Words can not express the sadness we feel for all of you. You will be in our thoughts and prayers. Now Danny and Mike are reunited in Gods wonderful kingdom.
Ron and I remember Mike being the cute little kid that ran around the drive-in.
God be with you all.

Michael,
The first time we met you were hitchhiking home from Hill-Murray,a tall lanky freshman,, I introduced myself and said we moved into the blue house on California street a half a block away, from that time we became friends,35 years ago,Mike I have so many good memories of the things we did from Wyoming with your Dad antelope hunting, to putting a garage roof on at the cabin, you used the hammer like a rock, myself and your Dad had some good laughs over that one for years ,I have so...
