Not sure what to say?

My sincere condolences to Mike's family. I knew Mike as a friend and neighbor. He was quite a guy, I enjoyed talking to him & was fortunate to see him just a couple of months ago. He remained the same no matter the challenge.

To the Hogans,

My sympathies for your loss. I am thankful for having been blessed to have him for an Uncle.

Mike certainly was one of a kind! My sincere condolences to his family and friends. His loss will touch us all. God's speed.
John Griffin

Our dear Hogan family, we loved Michael with all our hearts, and thought of him so often. So many happy memories of all of us together, and I know my Mother, Margaret Mary, and Aunt Ursula are thrilled to have him with them in Heaven. R.I.P. Michael, You will be missed. Especially your laugh and your smile. What a guy! Love,
Shawn, Paul, Lorrie and Edgar Davis

From the Fitzgerald clan to the Hogan clan - our prayers and sympathy.
Rest in peace Mike and thanks for all the giggles.

Mike was a friend and a good man.If you needed help Mike would be there for you. I haven't seen him for quite a while but I never forgot what this man was. Our love and prays are with him and his family.
Ken and Mary Gennett

Mike was one of a kind. Professionally and personally, he was passionate, compassionate, dedicated, loyal, honest and sensitive. He was also tough, strong-willed and someone to be reckoned with. He was someone you'd want on your side in good times and bad.

His laughter was infectious; his eyes twinkled bright blue (with his glasses precariously perched on his forehead!); his animated gestures telling the tale. This is how I'll remember you Mike. See you on the other side.

I also knew Mike from the City of Chicago's Civil Service Commission and worked for him in the Chicago Fire Department from 1982 until his retirement. He was a great boss who spoke his mind freely and cared a great deal for his colleagues. I know he was very devoted to his family. May he rest from his labors and enjoy his eternal reward.

Hi Jim & Bernie,
We are very sorry to hear of your loss. We know it's been a long struggle for Mike. May he now "Rest in Gods arms and be at peace."
Jim & Edie Petelle
