Love you dada

I think about you all the time, still to this day. I´ll always remember you as the best teacher a kid could´ve asked for. The memories are bittersweet, and I wish you were still here with us. Today is Thanksgiving, and I will forever be thankful I was able to have you as one of my teachers.

Mr Holcomb was my absolute favorite teacher I’ve ever had in my whole entire life. Eighth grade was one of the toughest years of middle school (emotionally) for me, but every day when second period pre-algebra rolled around I was in high spirits. He really knew how to connect with his students, from his funny jokes and sarcasm, to his caring and compassionate nature. Holcomb was my favorite teacher that I had, he was even better as a soccer coach. I remember all of us thinking that the only reason we were undefeated was because of him, and it was most definitely true, his energy encouraged all of us. I could talk to him about anything. Absolutely fantastic man, you will be missed so much that it cannot even be put into words.
