I knew Doc in Virginia 1967 to 1987 when he was an FAA doc and surgeon. I was a commercial pilot, and he also performed surgery, a great guy. As I recall his wife ran the office and he the med side. I remember before one of the surgeries a nurse I knew said he is the best, he is the surgeon we want if there are problems. That says it all on how well respected he was at Fairfax Hospital. I am glad I was cleaning out old records and said I will look him up.

We all at ESGC enjoyed Mike's stories..he caught his biggest "slab" in my boat on Orange lake in 2008. We love his baked mackerel recipe, and passed it on to all who tried it.

Dr. Homa was a guest in our home numerous times which were always delightful interchanges of many stories of his experiences. We were blessed to know him and spend time together. My condolences to you his family.
