Michael Hoogasian passed away in Providence, Rhode Island. The obituary was featured in The Providence Journal on January 30, 2013.
I was looking into the Station Fire and somehow came across the tragic story of this beautiful couple. This fire was over 21 years ago now but I just want to say you will not be forgotten, Mike and Sandy. We´re still thinking about you and always will be.

I hadn't seen Michael in years...since we worked together at The mall many years ago. We always had such fun and he was a genuinely nice person. I am so happy he met and married such a pretty girl and that although they died tragically in the fire, at least they were together. They look so happy in this picture and I like to think they are just as happy together in heaven. Thinking of you today.

I just want say I miss mike and sandy , mike was like my brother to me even as cousins we where close.sAs we got older we didnt see each other as much but made efforts to. We'll I know there in good hands with your (dad) Mike and uncle Jack (my dad) and auntie Mary &Alice &grandparents our dads always talked about...
