I knew Mike from playing basketball when we were young. You can always tell a lot about someone when you play ball with them. Mike was a great team player - who was dedicated to helping everyone around him. Once when he was playing, he broke his right arm - and it only convinced him that he had to play better with his left - which he did learn how to do. I didn't see much of Mike after school - but he will be missed.
