Not sure what to say?

Always missed and never forgotten. Remembering all the practices with you...

I worked for the Florida Dept. of Corrections as a pilot and Regulatory Compliance Officer. Mike served as a Construction Project
Administrator and was a regular passenger in the airplane.. I have never known a finer person than Mike and the feeling was mutual in St. Marks.

My memories of Mike are of his dear smile and kind heart. As a pal in Jr/Sr high school he was always someone who would help a friend and share a laugh, and what an athlete! And family was always important to him even as a young teenager. May his goodness live on in the lives of those who love him.
Many blessings,
Mainland class of 1970

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my deepest sympathies to the Hoover family. Mike and I dated in Jr./Sr. High School and he was such a fun and wholesome friend. My thoughts and prayers are with you all.

I will always remember Mike and our years together on the river, especially his marriage at sea. His friendship and loyalty will stay with me forever. He truly was one of the finest men I've had the privilege to know. Our love to the family.
Rob and Candi Reister, Gadsden Co. FL.

Praying for God's comfort and peace for the Hoover family as you look expectantly toward a heavenly reunion with Michael

today i attended the memorial/funeral for Mike's graduation. i was moved by the eulogy from his sister, particularly when she commented "she could not remember Mike ever saying anything mean/bad about anyone.." for me, during the time i knew him in high school i could very much understand this. we played many jr/sr high sports and never did i hear Mike swear or complain. he was the consummate teammate. Mike always gave his best be it at practice or during the games.i had not heard of nor seen...

We know and love Mike from our time at the St. Marks Yacht Club. What a wonderful friend. Our sympathy to his family.

MIKE: The many wonderful sunset cookouts at the beach house in Ponce Inlet, and great shared conversation, will never be forgotten. Kim and I are honored for having known you, so sorry to see you go, but also happy for you to be at peace. I am sorry to miss Saturday service, as I'll be at work..my thoughts will be on you at 11a. I'm sure that when we cross paths again, you will have made a green impact on the heavens also. We'll all miss you Mike!
