I love & miss you Uncle Mike. I know you are the one watching over Mac, Kristen, & I up here at school making sure we stay safe and out of trouble. I talk to Miles and Garrick about 2 or 3 times a week and don't worry everyone is looking out for them. They should be coming to visit sometime soon up here.

Ten of the eleven years I've worked at Snow I was the kindergarten teacher. "Mr. Mike" was kind to the kindergartners and they loved to go to his office for any reason. The students passed his office enroute to art, gym & music and when they peeked inside he always had a smile for them. He seemed to have a sixth sense for the needy children. Once after hanging a special swing for a handicapped student he made a point to chat with him often when he saw him. ...

Mike was a good coach and a good person in general he was one of those guys that could cheer you up with his jokes when needed he will always be remebered and will be greatly missed

My deepest, HEARTFELT prayers for ALL the Horvath family, especially for Aunt Dolores and Uncle Mike. My brother (Chuckie) phoned me on Saturday and needless to say, we were both shocked! Mike was way to young to leave us. Memories came as fast as my tears. 'Cousin Mike' was always a 'laid back' kind of guy and is still, to me, one of my earliest influences in the world of sports. His dedication alone, was an inspiration.
