Not sure what to say?

I am so sorry to read of Mike's death. He was a talented man who had so much to give. May he find peace and serenity in the next life.

Words are inadequate to express how I feel even after five months. Mike was so many things; a scientist, a poet, a lover of nature and a master carpenter. A friend and muse. And best of all, a true animal lover. My best friend, Schatzie, is here with me right now, because of him. Thank you, dear Mikey. See you on the other side. With love,

For anyone lucky enough to share Mike's keen wit and charm, our lives will never be the same again. I was lucky enough to be there on his first day of work at NETL and to meet many of the workers that knew him when he was at the State. Everyone always had the upmost respect for his knowledge. We will miss him dearly.

I am so sorry for your loss my thoughts and prayers are with you and your loved ones. May God be with you during this time and for the times to come. Lots of love and Hugs to you.

I worked for Mike years ago. We became friends due to his great sense of humor and personality, even travelling together to trade shows. He will be very missed. Condolences to his family at home and at NETL.
Brian Steffes (Moon Twp.)

Please accept my deepest sympathies.

Good bye to a high school friend. I will always remember the good times we had at Fort Cherry

My condolences to Kevin and Elizabeth and the family of Mike. Mike use to coach my son BJ Hast's baseball team along with his son Kevin. BJ enjoyed having Mike as his coach and had run into Mike a few years ago. My thoughts and prayers go out to all of you.
