Not sure what to say?

John, Sorry for you loose. I know you still miss him. I know he is looking over you. Jack Goudsward- Late of XE.

Michal was in addition to being a creative genius a kind and loving friend. His Sunday suppers were legendary! The world is dimmer without his light! Condolences to Sammy.

I am so sorry to learn of Michael's passing. I had the pleasure of meeting him in the 1980's thru the Children's Home of Kingston. This wonderful non profit was hosting a dinner dance fundraiser with a particular theme. Michael opened his beautiful home for the committee to learn how to create decorations based on the theme. He was so gracious. He participated in helping the Children's Home of Kingston for many years. His memory is a blessing. My condolences.
Warm Regards,

Michael was one of the kindest people I've had the privilege of knowing. He was a part of my early childhood and life as I grew into an adult. I worked at his home in Lomontville, NY every weekend with my parents helping with upkeep. I consider him to be family for his caring, generosity and mentorship. I'm sad to have found of his passing late during this epidemic but I have wonderful memories to hold onto. Rest in peace Michael, you made the world a more enjoyable, wonderful place.

Michael Hotopp was an amazing designer and a dear and great friend. I first met Michael many years ago while both of us were working at Radio City Music Hall... and we've worked together on many projects ever since. His passing is a loss not only to the theater and events community, but to his loving friends and family. He will be missed...

Goodspeed Musicals was saddened to hear about Michael's passing. We were very grateful for his support over the years. He really dreamed the impossible dream.
