Very few can remember Mike from our childhood on 49th St. The memories of us staying home from school upon the arrival of Stratomatic, backyard ball games with his brothers, the complete family experience with his mom and dad. I worked with Mike when he worked at the Massillon Independent. He was always fun to be around and he sure loved his sports.

I remember Mike while working at the Free Press many years ago and he was one of the Good Guys. Always friendly and had a smile on his face.
