Not sure what to say?

During this time of Covid and the shutdown here at Hope Village I have thought many times of Mike. He would have been one of my go to guys with helping others from walking dogs to assisting in moving trash cans to helping when evacuation was imminent because of the fires. He would have helped honoring the flag and been there as my strong dependable right hand. Mike was a real friend.

Mike,I could listen to your stories forever, a walking ,talking,Huffman history book. Be at peace.

Mike, you were such a wonderful Brother I will love you and miss you always. You will always be in my heart ❤

Thanks so much for writing this very fitting tribute to my Friend, Mike, whom I always call First Sergeant or Top. I will treasure memories of moving things together, playing pool but above all our times of military talk.

He took our good natured teasing with a smile than gave back as good as he got. We spent our time telling stories (most of them true) and...

I will always have great memories of this wonderful man. One of the most important to me is when he went fishing with Scott and me and we were all for catching the fish and warming up in the cabin - but Mike was old school and insisted on sleeping in a tent which he pitched by the cabin. What a man. When he went camping, he was all in/hard core and suffered our good natured teasing with a smile - giving as much as he got. We enjoyed ourselves telling stories and freezing in the early...
