Michael Duarte Huguez

Michael Duarte Huguez, 75, of Tempe, AZ passed away July 31, 2007 in Mesa. Michael was born Aug. 23, 1931 in Phoenix. He later served honorably in the U.S. Navy during the Korean Conflict. He was a prominent banker for over 40 years, working for several financial institutions including First Interstate Bank (Now Wells Fargo). He was dearly loved and will be deeply missed by his wife, Mary; his daughter, Karen (David) Wolf; sons, Kevin & Joseph (Stacy) Huguez; 8 grandchildren, Nikodemus, Robert, Taylor, Madison, Samantha, Casey, Tanner and Jordyn along with 4 sisters and 2 brothers. He was preceded in death by his parents and several siblings. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Aug. 4 at 10:00 am at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1800 E. Libra Dr., Tempe. Private Interment. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Michael's name to the Religious Education Program at Holy Spirit Church. Tempe Mortuary assisting the family.
