Not sure what to say?

Happy Angelversary, Mike. I miss you as much today as I did a year ago today. Thank you for watching over me this past year. I love you and miss you so much.
Your sis,

I have a whole in my heart the size of my brother.

Happy 40th Birthday, Mike. I miss you more than words.
Love,
Sis

Mike, out of the blue today I had a vivid memory of us playing outside in the backyard when we were kids. It was a wonderful memory but it started a wave of tears within me. I thought back on how innocent we were back then and how we thought we were immortal. I always thought you'd be here with me, but apparently God said your work here was done.

Sometimes I am afraid your spirit as a guardian angel will leave us soon, but then when I have a real down moment I can feel you near me....

I will miss your warm smile and endearing laugh! I know you will be looking over us! Love you Mike!

If you don't know what to say...

Go ahead and mention my brother
The one that died, you know
Don't worry about hurting me further
The depth of my pain doesn't show.

Don't worry about making me cry
I'm already crying inside
Help me to heal by releasing
The tears I try to hide.

I'm hurting when you just keep silent
Pretending he doesn't exist
I'd rather you mention my brother
Knowing that he has been missed.

You ask me how I am doing
I...

I can't begin to express how sorry I am for your loss. I too knew Mike since kindergarten. Having dinner with a fellow Good Shepherd classmate this weekend, we recounted his amazing mind. I always said I would go find him on the boat when I made it back to Elgin. Wish I had. He will be missed

We are very sorry to read of your loss...

John, Linda, and Michelle,
Amy just told us about Michael. We know God is with you all to help you through this difficult time. May you know you are wrapped in our Lord's arms during the days ahead. May His love for you comfort you.

In His love and our prayers,
Chuck and Karen Kiel

I am so sorry to hear of this loss. I graduated with Mike and had many classes with him including band. It is often hard to express but he will be greatly missed.
