Mike and I were close friends when we attended Queen of Heaven Catholic school. I remember when Mike left QoH and went to Jackson Jr. High. I ran into him a few times after that and remember visiting with him, his mother and one sister (the pageant queen.) at their home. Mike and I reunited at Manzano a few years later after I left St Pius X and entered Manzano High School. Mike and I began our association way back in junior high-school, now called mid-school. I remember him as always being popular and energetic....very upbeat, gregarious and laughing or smiling. That legacy came-through in the photo of him, as posted in the media. His award-winning, toothy-smile reminded me of him(he had perfect teeth.) I am sure that Mike will be missed, dearly, by friends and family. Rest in peace, Mike.
