One of my fondest memories as a first year teacher at Hamden Hall was watching Mike play 6-man football. Whether he blocked or ran the ball, he gave his all! I could hear his leather pads snap above the crowd noise, which was usually led by his dad. The entire Ippolito family was just as supportive of the school and its faculty, including me. I am sad to know of Michael's passing. My condolences to his family. May perpetual light shine upon him. Dan Zibello

Dear Ippolito Family,
I just learned of Michael's passing and I'm in shock. I attended Hamden Hall Country Day with all of the Ippolito
kids and they were legends. Not only were they all outstanding athletes , they were smart, kind, polite and Funny.
To my old classmate Alphonse, I send you Peace and Blessings. You all have lost too much for one family.
Godspeed.

Scattered pictures of the smiles we left behind. ❤
My deepest condolences to Al, Judy and family. When I was in grad school, and began to work at the River Restaurant Michael and I instantly became friends. His infectious smile, warmth and beauty was irresistible, and so it began. Many years of laughter, travel and being with friends and family. He will always hold a special place in my heart. Sending love and prayers, Liz
