Not sure what to say?

Another year has gone by that I was fortunate enough to enjoy. Another year that Mike was not able to have.... He was special.

I just found out yesterday at Kaiser, while in for a minor cyst surgery, as my doctor, I remember Dr. Ismail going after one of mine in exam room, He was my favorite Doctor, so far. and I am very sorry to just learn this. Always upbeat and ready to resolve anything!

In loving memory of a wonderful person. Still miss you.

Missing you still Mike... We had some good times...Not enough. Life goes on for the lucky ones....

I left kaiser in 2016 and I met Dr Ismail when my doctor was in vacation and I was impressed by him. I just joined kaiser back and called to request him as my family doctor and have sadly heard about him passing away. very sad , very sad. He saved my life in that visit and taught me a lot about how to stay healthy.
Rest in peace.

This guy was funny, upbeat and had a zest that enrolled you in his being. My prayers for him and his family.

This man was one of the two best family medicine doctors I have ever had in my life. I was taken off of his panel in August of 2014 and had only just requested to be put back on recently when I learned this morning that he had passed away. He was funny, he was kind, he knew his stuff, and he will be greatly missed by everyone who has ever been in his care. Nothing is harder in a doctor- patient relationship where something went wrong and you can never know what it was, so it could be...

Condolences, I'm lucky to have experienced his treatment. The Peters family hope and bless the Ismail's. I wish to express what he shared and taught, it is a part of what he gave selflessly everyday and I say you will be missed. Thank you and rest now peacefully Dr. Michael Ismail.

I met Mike as a freshman in high school in Sacramento. As you can imagine, he was as kind and fun back then too. He had a spirit for living that others can carry with them, which is one of the best gifts we can give I guess. He was a loving father and friend and will be missed deeply.
