Not sure what to say?

Good night, Michael. Thank you again for feeding me when I was unable to. You are now in the very best of company!

Goodbye Old Friend! I've known you since we were high school age and had many adventures over the years. You grew into such an accomplished man, I'm happy to have known you through all of your incarnations! I will always remember you fondly.

I am absolutely a better person for having known Michael Ivy. He was like a 2nd Dad to me in many different ways...and, unfortunately, he probably never knew the intensity of the positive impact he made in my life. I will never forget the day his son, David, and I were the "official" judges for his "Mobile's Best Hotdog" contest, and resulting article in the Press-Register. Prayers for peace, comfort, and rest are being lifted for this precious family who have forever made me a better...

Michael was an amazing man, a talented artist, and a superb chef, beyond compare. We will miss him.

I'm glad to have gotten to know Michael over the past year. My condolences to the family.

I got to know Mike in the late 70's. He was always fun to be around no matter what we did. He would have his son and I would have mine and it was always an adventure. This was before he became a Mobile legend(chef). He was an interesting person and so sweet. Someone you never forget. I hope he has found peace.

I met Michael in 1978 or 79 at South Alabama & had many wonderful encounters with him over the years. He was one of this world's truly nice guys & was a joy to be around.

I'm sorry to hear of his passing. He made you feel very welcome in his restaurant. Nice guy.

if they have anything other than nectar
and ambrosia in the hereafter,
Michael can cook it. Great guy!
