Not sure what to say?

Joyce & family, Mike hired me back in May of 1978 and was one of the best bosses a person could ask for. He truly cared about his employees and I feel blessed that I was able to be a part of the Bekins family since he allowed me to stay for so long. Mike was a very intelligent and kind man and I know he will be missed by so many lives he touched. He believed in me and for that I am eternally grateful. I will pray for all of you during your time of loss. Eileen Grass Schumacher Hazelwood, MO

Mike, I'll never forget the late night cruise we took at midnight down to the dam from Port Arrowhead. We came back and went into the wrong slip but fun was being had by all! Saying prayers for everyone in your family. God bless!!!

Uncle Mike, you will be missed by many. You brought joy and many fond memories to peoples' lives. My thoughts and prayers are with the family during this difficult time. May you rest in piece.

I had the privilege of knowing Mike for close to 10 years. He treated me as part of his family from the first time his daughter Joan brought me to Lake of the Ozarks, Memorial Day weekend 2007. Because of the distance between our homes I only got to see him about twice a year. I always enjoyed our late night conversations/debates at his kitchen table on Christmas Eve and at the lake, either at the Oar House or Larry's patio table on the dock.
Thank for the great times and memories...

Mike
Everyone is going to miss your shuffle down the dock on summer weekends heading to your getaway aboard Utopia. You always had a smile & a kind word every time we spoke. You will be missed by all who knew you & we will miss you. Joyce our thoughts & prayers are with you & your family during this time.

Sorry for your loss.

Mike, and Joyce, thank you for your friendship, care and genuineness. You both embraced Bill and I and welcomed us on the dock and in your hearts. You even participated in a Spongebob fashionshow! I embrace you both today and hold you close in my heart. Mike, Bill has LunaSea revved up for you- along with some other dear friends who will welcome you aboard. Joyce, share the joy of Mike with your family and friends and know you have another Angel watching out for you:)

I grew up a few doors down on Quendo from Mike and his brother Bob. Bob and I have been best friends since we were about 5 years old, so needless to say, I came to know Mike quite well. Mike was a guy that we all looked up to in our youth, he was so cool! Good looking and always well dressed, drove fast cars and the girls loved him. But he was always humble and kind to us, and gave us advise whenever we asked, or didn't ask!
His winning personality and kind nature carried throughout his...

Remembering Michael in our mind and in our hearts. He was such a sweet person and great friend to so many. We will miss him dearly. Joyce and family, may you be comforted by family and friends and the love surrounding you. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Michael will remain in our hearts forever.
