I met Mike when I was about 17 yrs. old, just after I met his best friend Joe Butvin. Joe introduced us, later. He was a great guitar player and was also a gifted vocalist, as well as a really nice person, and we connected with our shop talk of old guitars and amps. I remember seeing his band StarFleet, while they hid out at the Cove in Geneva, honing their act until it was "right" to jump to the top of the Cleveland band circuit. Some of my favorite memories of Cleveland, was going out at night to hear Dancer play at the different clubs. Words can not express the sadness I felt in hearing of Mike's passing at such a young age. My heart goes out to Mike's family at this difficult time.

My grandmother's maiden name was Jablonski. Her first name was Frances and she is buried at St Mary's. She lived on East 55th Street and I wonder if there is any relation.
