Dear Pat and Sue,

Sorry to read of Mike's passing. Although its been quite awhile since we last visited in person, I still recall times from our High School days and how good a person Mike was. Our prayers are with you and your family.

They say everyone remembers where they were when JFK was shot. Imprinted on my memory is Miss Buchwalters Spanish class: homework was to translate some paragraphs of a story. Miss Buchwalter called on Mike first...always the class clown, he hemmed and hawed and fumbled with the pages of the book, hesitating, everyone smiling at his delaying tactics, pretty sure he had not prepared. Then, just as he was about to begin, the chime of the PA speaker sounded to signal and upcoming...

Dear Pat and Sue,

I will never forget the great times I had with your brother during our school years. His intelligence and leadership abilities far surpassed his peers.

We are very sorry for your loss.

I am sorry to read of Mike's passing. I remember how much Mike loved reading and through that I also learned to love reading. He indeed liked making things grow and did beautiful carpentry and that talent was displayed in the work he did in my house.
