To Cathy and family
I just found out about Michael's passing today June 11th and I am so sad and distraught. Mike was such a great guy and I remember him as always being an upbeat and kind person. A rare quality! Back in our high school days at LA I always enjoyed talking to him as Mike was one of those people that you just felt better about yourself after having talked with him. Mike was uniquely Mike! My deepest condolences to Cathy and their children as well as to his brother...

I am deeply saddened by Mike's passing - you and your family have my deepest sympathy. I remember when you met him -- you knew immediately that he was "the one." I have such fond memories of times we all spent together when we lived in the city. Mike had a huge heart and will be greatly missed.
