My deepest condolences to your family. Dr. Jerva was my son's adviser and mentor during his medical school at UIC (1997-2001). Dr. Jerva was a generous and caring person whose career in pediatric neurosurgery is a valued legacy. His career and achievements will be remembered by all who knew him.
