Michael A. Jette

Michael A. Jette 1959 - 2023 Chicopee Michael A. Jette, beloved husband of Carol Ann (Lagasse) Jette, who predeceased him in 2019, passed away unexpectedly at his home in Chicopee on April 13, 2023, at the age of 63. Michael was born on November 24, 1959, in Holyoke, a son of Edward and Arline V. (Theriault) Jette, he was raised and educated in Chicopee and was a graduate of Chicopee Comprehensive High School. He was employed as a custodian throughout his career at several local businesses, that included National Blank Book, (now known as Avery) and most recently at the Soldiers Home in Holyoke. Michael's hobbies and interests included fishing, snowmobiling, and skiing. He leaves behind his brother, Richard E. Jette and his wife, Phyllis, aunt, Alice Duval, niece, Michelle L. Dougela and her husband, Jim, nephew, Daniel Jette and his wife, Miriam, and grandnephew, Owen Jette. In addition to his wife, Carol, he was also predeceased by his parents, Edward and Arline. Michael's funeral service will be private and at the convenience of the family. O'Brien Family Funeral Home in South Hadley has been entrusted with the arrangements.
