Mr. Michael E. Johnson

Michael Johnson was born on August 24, 1956 to James Johnson and Archie Johnson in Milwaukee, WI. Michael received his formal education at Washington High School in Milwaukee, WI. He later became a skilled machinist after attending classes at the Ladish Company. He received several certificates. Michael accepted Christ as his Savior at an early age and was united with Canaan Baptist Church for his Christian education. In his leisure, Michael enjoyed reading. He utilized his library card often to watch movies and read books. Michael also enjoyed listening to old school music and loved his nickname "Ice Mike". He loved the Lord and had a great love for his family and his friends. Michael was employed at Ladish Company and Bradley Corporation as a forklift driver until he retired.
Michael Johnson departed this life on May 3, 2016. He was preceded in death by grandparents, Jimmy Lock and Gladys Lock; sister, Dorothy Johnson; cousin, Robert Lock; niece, Shakiyla Ellis; and nephew, Derrick Ashford. Michael leaves to cherish his memories: mother, Archie Johnson; father, James Johnson, Jr.; three children, Shalanda Johnson, Ashley Foster and Montel Johnson; brother, James Johnson, Jr.; two sisters, Deborah Johnson and Sheila Johnson; aunt, Linda Lock-Bowman; three nephews, Terrelle (Yasmina) Carroll, Mario Johnson and Max's (Kimberly) Sampon; two nieces, Shakora Johnson and Brittany Graham, and a magnitude of other fond relatives and many friends
