Not sure what to say?

Michael was a good man. I met him through my father. They were fellow knife collectors. For years I would look forward to seeing Michael at knife shows where he would stop and teach me things about knives and show off some of his own work. Michael will be missed I'm grateful to the Lord for the time I was blessed to spend with him.

Condolences to Mickey's family. He will be missed by many.

I always called Mickey the Godfather of our Johnson family. What a sweet person, never talked to you without being sure to say I love you. I will truly miss him.

I have been friends with Mickey forever. The last few months we have spent some time together reminiscing school days and all about our younger days around North Pacolet. We had a great time target shooting and him teaching me how to make walking canes and staffs. He had always out shot me and could make a nicer cane or staff. We had many laughs. I will never forget my best friend Mickey

We are so sorry. He was a special person!

We are very sorry for the loss of this special man and gifted artist. His family, Patsy and her family were such integral parts of the Inman community. Prayers to all the family during this time. May God comfort you with the promise He gives us that we will see him again.

Mickey, it didn't matter if I saw you every day or ten times a day, you never changed. You were and always have been the gentleman that had a smile on your face, a twinkle in your eye and a spirit that only God is responsible for. You are rejoicing with the angels and your loved ones ❤ We will see you again.

Micky I recently saw you at Food lion and as we had the last 3 times I bumped into you we chatted for quite a while. Your carvings were beautiful, and your heart was big. God bless you as you take this heavenly journey. You put up the good fight and I am glad we met. God speed.

Mickey was a good friend of mine and brightened everyone's life. He will be dearly missed and remembered.
