Michael (Mike) was, sincerely, one of my close friends throughout my school years. The beauty of small town life is that you know almost everyone from your very youngest formative years into your young adulthood. We saw each other every day in classes and sat together at lunch. Mike was truly one of a kind. Whenever I would see him, he would look at me out of the corner of his eye and get this big ole smirk. That always made my day. Mike will truly be missed. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.
