Feerick Funeral Home - Shorewood Obituary

Entered the Fullness of Eternal Life on March 24, at the age of 75. Beloved husband of Dolores A. Kabara. Loving father of Christine, Greg (Tracy), Kevin (Cheri), and David (Pollyanna) Kabara. Proud grandfather of Brooke and Nathan; Zach, Brian, and Allie; Isabel, Li, and Adam. Cherished brother of Sr. Corinne RSM (Ruth) Kabara, Carol Kabara, Donald (the late Judy) Kabara, John (Helen) Kabara, and Mary (Hank) Cieslewicz. Further survived by many other loving relatives and dear friends.

Mike was a man who was dedicated to his family, his faith, and his country. He was a loving husband and father, and cherished spending time with his family. Mike enjoyed nature, woodworking and gardening after retiring from a 35 year career with GE Medical Systems. He was a long-time parishioner and volunteer at Holy Family Catholic Church in Whitefish Bay, assisting the church in every way he could. Mike also served his country in the United States Navy, and was a proud veteran.

Visitation will take place from 10:00AM to Noon on Wednesday, March 31, at Holy Family Catholic Church, 4825 N. Wildwood Ave. in Whitefish Bay, WI 53217. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated immediately following at Noon. Interment at Southern WI Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery will be private. The Mass will be live streamed.
