Not sure what to say?

Dear Georgia I am so sad to learn of Michael's passing. I remember very well how much you two loved each other. You are still one of my most admired and loved and respected Burn T.E.A.M. member. Our children's burn camps and our adult support group still go on. Please contact me so we can share the wonderful memories we have. Love Dr. Frat

I met Mike through my husband, Dolph, a professor at the Urban Studies program at Cleveland State. I believe that Mike may have been one of Dolph's students. I remember meeting Mike at the City Club, even after Dolph died of Alzheimer's Disease, now three+ years ago. He was always a kind, warm and interesting person, always asking about Dolph. My deep sympathy to you.

A gentleman, a gentle man, and a friend. I am blessed to have known him.

Grove of 100 Memorial Trees

My sincere condolences, Georgia, on the passing of Mike. I saw the obit in the PD today, and quite frankly, it hit me emotionally right in the gut. We were pretty good friends as teenagers from our families both vacationing at the same fishing camp in Ontario, Canada. It was really "cool" that as far up in the Canadian north woods as we were, that we actually only lived a few miles away from each other on the west side of Cleveland. We had a lot of fun together--going out on a boat by...

I will always associate Mike with his tight knit group of very diversified friends gathering so often at our favorite weekend spot . I thought of him as a real '"heady" friend, always current with things political in nature, and capable of a vigorous , informed discussion on any topic of your choice. To our mutual benefit, we jointly owned and occupied a double house, which allowed me to enjoy his friendship both from a personal and business basis. On only a handful of occasions over the...

May the memories that you and Michael shared live forever in your heart. He was a very special man that I had the pleasure of knowing., he will be missed.

My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family as we remember Michael. Mike will always be with us, he has left us his impressive legacy for others to follow. His passion for life, his love for Georgia, and his dedication to his career. He was a man of strong convictions and incredible strength and I will always cherish the times we had together.
God Bless
