Not sure what to say?

When Mike was getting ready to go out for the Classical Football team, he had me workout with him every night for about 4 nights at the commons. He almost broke my shoulder, ha. I went to Lynn Trade. He was a man of determination.

Condolences to the family of my friend and LCHS-55 classmate Mike. I always remember Mike as a brilliant student, a fine athlete, and kind beyond measure. Mike´s career choice as an educator certainly was of great benefit to his students over many decades. It was such a privilege to call him "friend." Mersine Armstrong Hennessey

My sincere condolences to the family and friends of Mike, one of the classiest people people I ever met. A fraternity brother and friend, Mike was a guide to all of us rookies.

Am deeply saddened to read of the passing of Michael Karavetsos. He was a good friend and wonderful person.

My fondest memories are if Mike with my sons, his grandsons. When they were little, he would march around the house with them in his hip, blowing out an imaginary horn. Then he would pretend to be a secret agent, making phone calls to othe spy's on his secret red phone. I'll miss his stories and his endless wisdom. He was a true gentle man. The most treasured things in his life was his family. He was one in a million. We'll miss you Papa. Your loving daughter in law, Darlene.

Please accept mt deepest condolences on the loss of your father/grandfather. I had the pleasure of having had Mike as a student at Marblehead High as both as sophomore and a senior, and he was a tremendous teacher. In later years, I was a sportswriter for the Lynn Item, and I would happily see him whenever I covered football games at Stackpole Field in Saugus. I'm very terribly sorry for your loss. Mr. karavetsos was one of my favorite teachers at Marblehead High. I always looked forward to his class. It is funny to think he was only a few years older than we were. God bless him.
