My condolences go out to Michael's family. I especially want to extend my condolences to Jennifer.....you were one of my students in my first year teaching in Verona and I had a number of very nice conversations with your dad that year and in the years after. I hadn't seen him in a very long time, but I was saddened to see that he had passed. My thoughts are certainly with you and the rest of your family.

Mike will always be remembered as the most wonderful soul. He is one of the reasons that my time at Cornell was so magical. We had dinner together nearly every day and shared many laughs and good times. Though our paths diverged, I've always remembered Mike and those good times.
