Crowley, Texas - Michael Lewis Keith, 78, of Crowley, Texas, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by his loved ones, on March 5, 2026.

Born March 29, 1947, in Fort Worth, Texas, to Andrew S. Keith of Crowley, Texas, and Mary Maurine Keith (nee Mccollum) of Fort Worth, Texas, Michael graduated from Polytechnic High School in Fort Worth and studied at Texas Wesleyan University.

He spent his career with the General Service Administration (GSA) and upon retirement, founded and operated his own fabrication business, Mike Keith Enterprises.

Michael had a lifelong passion for cars, hot rodding, and drag racing in the AHRA, NHRA, and IHRA, through which he built a large and loyal community of friends and customers who shared his passion for the sport.

Survivors include his son, Ryan M. Keith, and his son-in-law, Roy S. Keith, both of Crowley, Texas, who served as his caregivers in recent years. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 48 years, Lindy Keith; and by his parents, Andrew S. Keith and Mary Maurine Keith.

A service will be held at Laurel Land Funeral Home & Memorial Park: 7100 Crowley Road, Fort Worth, Texas, on Monday, March 16, 2026 at 2 pm with a visitation prior beginning at 11 am. The interment will be at Crowley Cemetery located in Crowley, Texas.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research.
